During that time, increasingly than 450 students have received Alumni Association Scholarships. The deadline for scholarship applications for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 wonk year has passed. The Alumni Board of Directors will take the month of April to review applications and will release decisions in early May.Please uncontrived any questions to the Alumni Relations Office by emailing alumni@ycp.edu or by calling 717.815.6642. Applying for a ScholarshipYou can wield for an Alumni Association Scholarship in just a few steps! Meet the Criteria Eligibility Requirements Alumni RelativeAll applicants must have an alumnus/alumna relative. This can be a parent, grandparent, sibling, or other thoroughbred relative. The only non-blood relatives that are valid for eligibility are spouses and stepparents.GPA RequirementAll applicants must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA. If you are an incoming freshman for Fall 2018, this requirement will be waived.Financial AidAll applicants must well-constructed the necessary forms for financial aid (FAFSA) through the Financial Aid Office to determine your financial need.WieldApply Online! The using deadline for next wonk year has passed.Scholarship consideration is based on financial need and other extenuating financial circumstances. Applicants must meet the whilom criteria to be awarded a scholarship. In addition, it is the applicant’s responsibility to unmistakably convey the financial need for this scholarship. Candidates with incomplete applications will not be considered.Additional using materials can be emailed to alumni@ycp.edu. Submit a Letter of Reference Letter of Reference All applicants must submit a letter of reference from their alumni sponsor/relative. The reference letter can be just a few paragraphs long, describing the student's accomplishments, why he/she is deserving of an Alumni Association scholarship, and include any information that isn't asked on the application.Letters of reference can be emailed to the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@ycp.edu. Please include the name of the student applying for the email and the name, matriculation year, and email of the alumni sponsor/relative.If you have unromantic for the Alumni Association Scholarship in the past and once have a letter of reference on file with the Office of Alumni Relations, it is not required to submit flipside letter. When will you find out? Scholarships will be awarded in early May Scholarship applications will be placid and reviewed by the York College Alumni Board of Directors during April 2018.
